The Colosseum, Rome
I didn’t bring a tripod to Italy, so I was really pleased with how this one came out. I found a wall that seemed about the right height for what I wanted, and put the camera down. Couldn’t look through the viewfinder, so I guessed at the composition. I love how the twilight sky came out, that you can see the lights inside the coliseum, and the horses out front. This is one of those times when experience on timing exposures, so that it becomes second-nature, becomes really important.
