Sunflowers – Photo # 271 This photograph was cross-processed, which means I shot it on slide film, but then had it developed as if it was a negative. You know how negatives have that orange cast? These don’t, so, it messes with the color. It also increases contrast. I have done this with a series of flowers and also tombstones, it’s really cool. Available 8×10,  or 8×10 matted 11×14

Cranberry Bog – # 300

Cranberry Bog, Plymouth, Mass You think cranberries are red, until you look at a bunch close up and see all the different colors… If you’ve never seen cranberries being harvested, it looks just like in the TV commercials– the guys in hip waders standing in the water.  They flood the bog, and the cranberries all float to the surface. People stand in the pond and corral the berries toward a huge machine that sucks up water and berries, and the berries drop into a truck and the water goes back into the pond.
